Obituary of Mrs. Mary Whitely nee Mary Jane Ellsworth

"Mrs. Mary Whitely died at her home in this city on Friday, March 13, 1908, at 10:00 a.m. aged 69 years, 2 months and 11 days. Deceased was a mother of F.A. Whitely of this city. The remains were taken to Sewell, Iowa her former home on Saturday where the internment and funeral services were held. F.A. Whiteley and wife accompanied the remains. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of all in their bereavement."

This clipping came from the collection of Jessie F Whitely Hodges. Her father is the F.A. Whitely mentioned in this article.

I do not know what city is referenced in this obituary. I also do not know the name of the newspaper which published this obituary. I believe the town referenced is La Plata, Missouri.
